Fi (also known as F.M Papaz) is a Greek-Australian writer, editor, educator, and translator living in Brooklyn, New York. Her poetry has been published in literary magazines and anthologiesacross Australia and the United States.

Her editorial experience includes roles as Lead Editor at Tabula Rasa Review, the Managing Editor at Milk Press, and co-editor at The Writer’s Foundry Review, where she is an MFA Candidate & Barbara Germack Fellow (2025-2026). Her translations are forthcoming in Cordite Poetry Review.

She will teach an international poetry program, Translation as Archive, at the Ionion Center for Arts and Culture from June 29 to July 7.

Her work with the Poetry Society of New York supports its flagship event, the New York City Poetry Festival on Governors Island. She also teaches immersive workshops, including at their Catskills Writing Retreat, executes marketing campaigns, and is regularly commissioned to create typewriter poetry for clients such as the MET Opera, Brooklyn Museum, Pratt Institute and The Public Theater.

Fi enjoys collaborating across disciplines and has worked as a dramaturg on two plays by Pansy Productions in Melbourne, Australia: Victory Lap and Drama School: A Play.
